Description:

The project involves the addition of a new 500-m multi-use pathway, a curb, and greenery and trees between the street and the multi-use pathway. This work will be done as part of the complete Lamarche street rehabilitation project. The project also includes the addition of pedestrian and bicycle crossings in all four directions at the intersection of Marie-Victorin boulevard and Lamarche street, a crosswalk at the intersection of Lamarche and Titanic streets, and the addition of pavement markings and signage to guide vulnerable users and keep them safe. The Lamarche street project thus contributes to the ATF’s goal of increasing the overall quantity, use and quality of active transportation infrastructure.
