Description:
The proposed project will address flooding risks and erosion along the Lake Ontario shoreline in the Town of Lincoln. The planned shoreline improvements and road relocations will enable year-round access to the lakefront residences, businesses, farms, and parks.Our project will adapt the existing shoreline to address rising water levels in Lake Ontario as observed in 2017 and 2019. The increased lake levels, in combination with high winds, wakes and severe storm events, have caused significant road damage and shoreline erosion. Our project aims to relocate existing roads damaged by flooding and erosion, and to improve shoreline protection infrastructure in preparation for future events.
