Description:
Design and construct a Reduction Facility which reduces phosphorus discharge from the Holland Marsh to improve water quality in Lake Simcoe, which is the most regulated lake in the province of Ontario where phosphorus is a key water quality concern. Given increasing severity of wet weather events and the link between urban runoff and phosphorus loading, this project will reduce phosphorus impacts and mitigate the impact of climate change.
