Description:
Bonaparte First Nation is looking to complete an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) to address safety concerns, improve connectivity, and provide relevant and effective programs, services, and culturally appropriate governance for the community. The active transportation plan will focus on planning for the community of IR3. IR3 is the most populated site with 160 permanent members, and most of the community facilities.

Building on the first phase of permanent transit programming, announced in February 2021, the expanded parameters of the CPTF will continue the federal government’s commitment to improve the quality of life of Canadians by creating jobs and economic growth, supporting climate resilience, and building a stronger and more inclusive Canada. Through the CPTF, HICC will collaborate with all levels of government, Indigenous partners as well as stakeholders to deliver world-class, modern public transit and active transportation infrastructure.
