Description:
The Recipient agrees to undertake the "Respectful Relations and Sentencing Circle Training Project". The project will train two staff in Respectful Relations training. Once trained, they can facilitate the 10 session program which teaches offenders how to manage their emotions and behavior and increase their problem solving skills so they are less likely to be violent in their relationships. The Sentencing Circle training will assist in healing those affected by crime and those who have committed crimes. The focus is on building healthy communities by repairing relationships and allowing victims and perpetrators to reconcile and heal as they live in the same communities.
