Description:
The organization will hold its Eleventh National Criminal Justice Symposium in Winnipeg on January 17-19, 2019. The Symposium will take an innovative and constructive approach in identifying and recommending practical steps which may be taken to improve the criminal justice system for Indigenous Canadians. The Symposium will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous practitioners, leaders and criminal justice experts to consider a range of issues central to the Indigenous experience of justice and to develop recommendations regarding the administration of criminal justice at all levels of Canadian government.
