Description:
This project will support a one-time initiative to provide travel support to enable 40 Indigenous Courtworkers and delegates from Native Counselling Services of Alberta to attend the Indigenous Courtwork Program National Gathering and related meetings March 4-8, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario. The National Gathering of Indigenous Courtworkers will provide an opportunity to build on existing partnerships by sharing information and best practices in support of the Indigenous Courtwork Program mandate and objectives. The gathering will provide an opportunity for networking in support of skill building and capacity development for Courtworkers. This project will also support the development of a logo for the National Gathering.
