Description:
This project will enhance knowledge and awareness of sexual harassment in the workplace amongst employees and employers in the Waterloo region. A series of workshops will be developed to enhance knowledge in relation to legal rights and responsibilities, how to create and contribute to safe, inclusive workplace environments and bystander intervention skills. An online social media campaign will also be launched to encourage local businesses to 'Raise the Bar' and work towards creating safe and healthy workplace environments. Businesses will also be encouraged to commit to annual training for staff and management on sexual harassment. Additional materials will be developed to increase overall public awareness and access to resources.
