Description:
The Saskatchewan Aboriginal Courtworker Gathering project supports the work of Aboriginal Courtworkers in Saskatchewan and the increasing demand for family, youth and criminal Courtworkers. It will bring courtworkers to Saskatoon in March of 2020 for four days of workshops related to the delivery of courtwoker services. The workshops will focus on the development of training material and the preparation for the potential expansion of Family/Youth Aboriginal Courtworker services in Saskatchewan. It will also address database use to ensure consistent and accurate reporting of services provided and will respond to challenges surrounding Mental Health and Wellness.
