Description:
The organization will support families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls by providing counseling, information and ceremonial supports to assist them in the process of healing and reconciliation. The organization will host four traditional ceremonies to honour missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. The organization will also promote capacity building among organizations by developing and delivering training that will better equip organizations to address the multiple layers of recent and historical trauma that Indigenous families face with trauma-informed care and culturally grounded models.
