Description:
The organization will work collaboratively with Quebec Native Women and the City of Montreal to build relationships with and provide accompaniment and referral services to families of missing and murdered Indigenous women. This project will formalize and implement a missing and murdered Indigenous Women procedure with community partners and the Montreal Police Service. Overall, this project will result in increased access to support for families of missing and murdered Indigenous women in Quebec and increased mobilization in the event of an Indigenous woman going missing.
