Description:
The Nunavut Family Information Liaison Unit (FILU ) Cultural Support Program will continue to be a one-stop for information gathering and sharing for those affected by the issues of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. The FILU will facilitate meetings for families with the information providers such as RCMP, Coroner, Department of Health and the Department of Family Services. The FILU will work in collaboration with their partners to inform grieving families about accessing community-based culturally relevant supports which includes community and/or family healing sessions.
