Description:
The project includes a research study and an awareness campaign on family violence in smaller remote communities in Nunavut. The Law Society of Nunavut will gather information and personal testimonials of survivors of family violence in order to address access to justice barriers with respect to family violence. A comprehensive public awareness campaign designed from the research study will provide legal information and resources across the territory through various platforms (video, posters, podcasts, radio and social media, workshops). The project aims to benefit the general public and to promote access to justice in regard to family violence matters.
