Description:
The first component of this project will support the improvement of tools and enhance services for victims of domestic violence. The second component will ensure respect for victim's rights in the justice system, which are outlined in the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights (CVBR). To enhance the recognition and participation of victims, particularly those in remote areas, mobile video conferencing technology will be installed to strengthen links between justice system stakeholders and victims. The project will also serve to inform victims of their rights and possible legal remedies related to the CVBR.
