Description:
The organization will create a dedicated Indigenous sacred space to engage with Indigenous community members entering the justice system as victims and witnesses with the goal of promoting healing and relationship building within the community. The space will be dedicated to increasing awareness regarding Indigenous cultural diversity, decreasing racism and providing both community members and CPS officers with the opportunity to experience and explore Indigenous tradition and culture. The space will also show commitment of CPS to reconciliation and their relationship with the Indigenous community.
