Description:
The project will increase awareness and understanding of workplace sexual harassment in the Northwest Territories. Public education and information resources will be developed on workplace sexual harassment, specifically targeting employers and employees, and will include information on the legal framework, rights and obligations, how to prevent and address it, and what resources are available. Training workshops will be delivered in all six regions of the territory, encompassing 33 communities. Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers will be engaged to support the development of the resources and delivery to ensure cultural appropriateness and respect throughout the project.
