Description:
VACPC will provide training in cultural land-based tools designed to aid survivors of direct and complex inter-generational trauma, including the families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. They will learn to recognize and respond in innovative ways to reduce negative effects and gain tools to help them heal themselves and their families and respond more effectively to the situations that trigger them. Resources and materials will be provided to support the training and cultural activities. Wellness plans and activities will also built into the project staffing plan to ensure that staff supports are included.
