Description:
The Community Support and Healing for Families Program will provide a diverse range of trauma informed by-Indigenous-for-Indigenous services to individuals and families directly impacted by victimization and the loss of Indigenous women, girls, men, boys and 2SLGBTQI+ peoples. The program will focus on connecting community members/victims/survivors and their families with resources, information and advocacy services centred on trauma awareness, with an emphasis on safety, including physical, emotional, and cultural safety. The program takes a whole family centered approach to those with complex needs who are impacted by these traumatic losses.
