Description:
Na-Cho Nyak Dun will address community-wide trauma by reintroducing traditional ceremony and culturally grounded coping mechanisms. Different healing practitioners will deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and uniquely tailored activities for families and community members. The activities will alternate between being held in Mayo and Ethel Lake. Counselors, wellness workers, and Elders will support community members on their healing journeys.
