The project will also revise the current manual and database to reflect the outcomes of the training.

Program Purpose:
Since 1978, the Department through the ICW Program makes contributions to provincial/territorial governments through bilateral multi-year cost-sharing contribution agreements to support the provision of culturally competent services to Indigenous persons charged with an offence under federal or provincial statute or municipal by-law or otherwise involved in the criminal justice system.
