The project aims to inform and raise awareness of the public's rights and obligations, while making the justice system more accessible through the Open Doors - Aim for Justice event. This major event will offer free activities focused on current legal issues. The adapted format geared to the new realities of Canadians, will offer participants free legal consultations, an opportunity to interact with members of the special units of the Montreal Police Service, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Montreal Courthouse and the Quebec Court of Appeal, and interactions with justice officials.

The Justice Partnership and Innovation Program (JPIP) supports the departmental core responsibility of justice system support.
