The "Together We Heal: MMIWG2S+ Gathering" is a transformative community engagement initiative aimed at supporting families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit+ (MMIWG2S+). The project will bring together Community Champions, families, and other stakeholders to identify the wrap-around services needed to assist current and future families impacted by the MMIWG2S+ crisis. The gathering will provide culturally responsive support, healing opportunities, and capacity-building activities to foster safety, resilience, and justice for Lake Babine Nation members.
