Description:
The project aims to transform mediation practices by adapting the HELP Toolkit to apply the HELP-M approach. The adapted Toolkit will support standardized screening for family violence, gender-based violence and coercive control for mediators. The project will complete a needs assessment, engage with stakeholders, conduct focus groups and interviews, and consult with an advisory committee who will guide the toolkit’s development and implementation. The toolkit will be comprehensive, culturally competent and trauma-informed to support mediators to identify and address family violence.
