This project will enable the community justice coordinator and members of the Justice Committee of the Council of the Innu Nation of Nutashkuan to receive the training they need to implement the Aboriginal Alternative Measures Program. This training will enable them to ensure that clients referred by the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions after charges have been laid are dealt with appropriately and in a culturally safe manner.
