The proposed project will support the recording and preservation of Takla Nation's Indigenous law and legal traditions through interviews with Elders and Knowledge-Keepers in the community. Carrying with Takla's heritage, this project will be recorded through the oral histories, with one-on-one interviewing, focused on legal traditions. The findings will be compiled in a final report which will inform the work of the nation.
