Description:
The New Brunswick FILU will continue to provide a trauma-informed, culturally grounded “one stop shop” for families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous people (MMIP) and act as a liaison between New Brunswick Indigenous families of MMIP and other agencies and services, including the criminal justice system, coroner, and policing. The Unit accesses up to date and accurate information about the missing or murdered loved one and provides the information to the families.
