Description:
This project will support the Nation’s participation in the initial implementation phase of the Indigenous Justice Strategy (IJS) by ensuring that they remain fully engaged in discussions, planning, and decision-making processes. It will also ensure that the Nation’s priorities, cultural teachings, and lived experiences inform the early development of justice initiatives, as well as strengthen collaboration with partner organizations, governments, and other Indigenous communities. The project will lead to proposed framework, that will guide future phases of IJS implementation.
