The project will provide free, age-appropriate legal rights education to children and youth throughout British Columbia through interactive workshops. The project will help bridge access to legal and other support services, with a particular focus on reaching marginalized youth, including those in rural, northern, and Indigenous communities.

Program Purpose:
The Justice Partnership and Innovation Program (JPIP) supports the departmental core responsibility of justice system support. The department plays an essential role in ensuring a fair, relevant and accessible Canadian justice system. JPIP’s longterm goal is to contribute to increasing access to the Canadian justice system and strengthening the Canadian legal framework. It supports policy directions of the Department on issues related to family violence, access to justice, and other emerging justice related issues.
