This project will build on previous submissions to Canada and Nova Scotia during the earliest phase of Indigenous Justice Strategy development, which identified the unique challenges experienced by Mi’kmaq within the legal system. The project will be a collaboration with the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq to prioritize trilateral collaboration to help establish priorities specific areas of justice reform.
