Agreement Date:
Apr 14, 2026 - Mar 31, 2031
Description:
The project will expand the province's existing supervised parenting program into underserved rural regions, increasing access for families involved in family justice proceedings, particularly where intimate partner violence is a concern. The initiative will include court-ordered and referral-based access, in‑person and virtual supervision options, and independent observation-based reports to the Court. It will enable children in rural communities to maintain safe, consistent, and predictable relationships with a parent in circumstances where such contact might otherwise be limited or unsafe by contracting trained facilitators and providing services in neutral community-based locations.
