Program Purpose:

The JPIP supports the departmental core responsibility of justice system support. The department plays an essential role in ensuring a fair, relevant and accessible Canadian justice system. JPIP’s longterm goal is to contribute to increasing access to the Canadian justice system and strengthening the Canadian legal framework. It supports policy directions of the Department on issues related to family violence, access to justice, and other emerging justice related issues.
