Description:
The Prince Edward Island Family Information Liaison Unit will continue to provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed services and support for families of missing and murdered Indigenous people, including men and boys. The FILU will provide families access to information about their loved ones and provide a liaison function between families of missing and murdered Indigenous people and other agencies and services, including the criminal justice system, social services, health services, and policing. Cultural supports, including access to an Elder and counselling services are available to assist family members in their healing journey.
