Description:
The project will develop an Impact of Race and Culture Assessment (IRCA) Assessor Training manual to be used for an IRCA Assessor Micro-credential Course and IRCA Assessor Tutorial Course. The IRCA Assessor Micro-credential Course will be offered in partnership with McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies and include both an English and French cohort. The IRCA Assessor Tutorial Course will be offered in partnership with McGill University’s School of Social Work. Also, the project will provide IRCA awareness events and training sessions for community organizations, justice system professionals and government employees from relevant institutions. Lastly, the project will conduct outreach to jurisdictions and legal aid plans on the availability of IRCA assessors.
