Description:
The objective of this project is to digitize approximately 3,000 copy negatives of images from the Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada's collection. Many of the originals are fragile and the digitization will thus help maintain and preserve the originals. The images will be hosted on the organization's website and online access to the digital images will be provided via the Manitoba Archival Information Network (MAIN). The related work will also involve correcting and improving the metadata associated with the images.
