Description:
The primary objective of the project is to consolidate the archival database of the Société d'histoire du Lac-Saint-Jean by transcribing paper inventories and indexing missing archival holdings. All archival holdings will also be described in accordance with the Archival Description Rules (RAD). The second objective of the project is to make the archival database available online on the organization's web platform.

Expected Results:
This project will facilitate research, increase the accessibility of archives to the public and preserve its documents through the transcription, indexing, revision and online publication of the organization's database. In addition, the project aims to increase the number of consultations of the archives of the Société d'histoire de la Haute-Yamaska during its dissemination.
