Description:
The project aims to make accessible, via a Web Portal, texts and photos on the history and cadastre of 190 heritage sites in the greater Orleans region collected in a directory in place since 2016. In addition to developing a Web Portal, the project also aims to increase the preservation of documentary heritage by digitizing and downloading 300 other photos or historical documents such as wills and videos of interviews with Orleans elders from families or organizations.

Expected Results:

The objective of this project is to create a secure and easily accessible Web Portal and to upload approximately 400 Word texts and 600 photos, as well as to train volunteers on the use of the Portal who will help those in need of indicators. In addition, the organization aims to digitize and upload a large number of historical photos, summarize them in French and English and welcome approximately 80 people to the launch of the project and the open house.
