Description:
The project aims to support the creation of Saskatchewan's new and first Centre d'archives en français in Regina in 2019, in the implementation of the administrative management system and a training and support framework for volunteers. The training framework aims to develop video(s) to reach and train volunteers throughout the province of Saskatchewan, within a very rural community. The project will also include the implementation of an archival management system for the collection and processing of French-language archives.

Expected Results:
In the short term, this project aims to ensure that the Archives Centre has healthy standards, policies, procedures and support services in English and French, as well as a virtual training kit for all. In addition, the organization wishes to stimulate the interest of at least 10 new volunteers for the Archives Centre. In the long term, the Centre's objective is to be recognized by the Saskatchewan Francophone community and to receive the support of 20 volunteers per year, in addition to working with the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan.
