Grants and Contributions:
The short-term results include completing all tasks as is outlined in the project timeline. The findings aids and digitized material will increase access to the collection. The project will also result in a more secure, long-term preservation of the collection. An additional short-term result (which will benefit the Foundation in the future as well) is being able to offer increased digital content. This is especially important throughout 2021 and into 2022 to ensure the public can safely engage with WAF’s collections.
The fonds addressed in the project will be utilized in much of WAF’s upcoming public programming, which engages several thousand members from the public every year. This will ensure the long-term use and promotion of the collection and will also result in a higher number of individuals engaging with the material.
