Provide 36 hours of training on digitizing materials
Creation of digitized copies, archiving and processing of audio recordings, video recordings, textual materials and photographs as follows: 200 audio recordings (audiocassettes and microcassettes), 50 video recordings (VHS videocassettes, Super VHS videocassette, Mini DV cassettes, Hi8 videocassette) 13 000 pages of textual materials, 1 000 photographs
Translation of audio, video and textual materials to create descriptions and summaries
Listen, Hear Our Voices supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governments and non-profit organizations in: 1) digitizing existing documentary heritage related to Indigenous languages and cultures, and 2) building the skills, knowledge and resources to do this work in their communities.
