Description:
This one-year project aims to make the fourth series of the Gil Photo* collection accessible. The following activities are based on this general objective: classification and description based on the Rules for Archival Description (RAD); improved conservation, replacement of containers and reclassification in the original order; dissemination of descriptions on the web portal and in the consultation room; free training on the use of digital research tools; and communications in the media and in the magazine Saguenayensia.

Expected Results:
The main expected results in the archives component are increased accessibility, compliance of descriptions with RAD and improved preservation of ±22,500 graphic materials; online dissemination of 4,000-6,000 descriptive records; and improved RAD, digital and database skills of staff and in the mediation component: increased ease of use of the online research portal by the public through training and webinars.
