Description:
The training will cover preservation, arrangement, description, digitization, digital preservation, and outreach using records of healthcare institutions founded by the congregation. The extent of these records is 31 feet, including textual material, 1418 photographs, and one audiocassette. This project will enable the public to access these records. Throughout the internship, there will be time for reflection on what practices in archival administration could be modified when put into practice within a traditional cultural setting.

Expected Results:
A total of 32 feet of hospital and nursing school records will be processed, and 1418 photographs and one audiocassette will be digitized and shared on the web. These digitized materials will be digitally preserved long-term. One travelling exhibit will be created for a nursing school reunion event.
