His work provides an immersive view of Metepenagiag and Natoaganeg communities, historical grounds, burial mounds, riverbanks and wildlife.

Library and Archives Canada
Expected Results:

The expected result of this project is that North Shore Micmac District Council (NSMDC) will be able to honour its mandate of raising awareness of its historical/sacred sites and Mi'kmaq traditions, customs and practices. In the short term, this project will protect and preserve Nelson Cloud's artistic collection while also increasing accessibility, interest and potential for knowledge sharing both internally and externally.
