This project will implement the first two objectives of the organization’s Digitization Strategy: (1) digitize analog documentary heritage at very high risk of degradation and loss; and (2) acquire the skills and resources necessary to improve archival management practices to ensure the viability and sustainability of our actions to transmit Indigenous languages and cultures.

La Boîte Rouge VIF’s analog collections that are at greatest risk will be digitized and made accessible for the BRV, our partners and members of First Nations and Inuit, in accordance with an access protocol validated by them
The Boîte Rouge VIF will have a functional and operational archive management system
Creation of a provincial inter-nation and intersectional working committee on Indigenous archives
