Description:
The project will focus on sound recordings of stories and songs to simplify the process of searching by title, name of singer or storyteller, year and place of recording. This project would allow us to continue our collaboration with the Université de Poitiers in France, making our traditional songs accessible to researchers everywhere.
Organization:
Library and Archives Canada
Expected Results:

With this project, the CFOF will make it easier for the public to access its archives digitally via an online platform. After one year, we will also have simplified access for our local clients to a CFOF platform. In the long term (3 years), we would like to have a digital platform managed by the CFOF, which would also enable us to make our stories and photos accessible, as well as the books in the reference library.
