Description:
Consisting of 55,000 negatives, including 12,000 on glass, the Fonds Joseph-Eudore Lemay brings together the entire documentary collection of the most important photography studio established in Saguenay during the first half of the 20th century.
The goal of the project is to make the Fonds accessible and to improve its conservation.

The anticipated results are part of broader efforts at development. Five areas of action are targeted, including archives, dissemination, and administration.
a) Archives: description compliance with the Rules for Archival Description (RAD) and enhanced conservation.
b) Dissemination: raising public awareness of archives; promoting regional and national heritage.
c) Administration: sound and balanced management of resources.
