Description:
The proposed project is to develop a positioning system software for self-driving/assisted driving vehicular applications. The new software will permit: (1) high-precision stand-alone global navigation satellite system (GNSS) operation insensitive to wireless communication disconnection with correction to signal outages; (2) high-precision stand-alone inertial navigation system (INS) operation without GNSS aiding; (3) Continuously available and robust multi-sensor navigation solutions in challenging environments.
