Description:
Mage Networks uses data pipelines, a special type of multi-hop mesh networks, to provide high data rate Internet access to rural areas. These data pipelines require specific design considerations to guarantee a minimum supported data rate. This project aims at developing a software that designs these data pipelines. It selects the sites, the type of MagiNodes used at that site, the transmit power setting, and the direction of the antennas guaranteeing a minimum data rate with a minimum number of units.
