Description:

The proposed project involves Stage 1 drug discovery program on synthetic anticancer nucleosides based on Firm's existing technology platform in nucleoside chemistry including a library of nucleoside based molecules, many of which have been of interest to the pharmaceutical industry. Objective is to develop and screen a series of synthetic nucleosides, identify lead candidates and fully characterize them for anticancer properties on human cancer cell lines. Ultimate goal is to discover proprietary anticancer drug candidate/s with high therapeutic index for consideration as a pharmaceutical within the synthetic anticancer nucleosides drug class.
