Description:
Eel Lake Oyster Farm Ltd. produces the re-known “Ruisseau Oyster” which is distributed to high end restaurants throughout Canada. These Eastern oysters are grown using floating bag technology in the clean waters of Salt Bay and Eel Lake in southwest Nova Scotia. Eel Lake intends to improve its productivity and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by incorporating a solar powered oyster grading system on a new floating barge unit.
