Title:
YOUTH GREEN - Developing combined Auger electron spectroscopy, ion sputtering and thermal annealing for contamination characterization on highly efficient power electronics devices based on wide band semiconductors such: SiC and GaN.
Agreement Number:
911620
Agreement Value:
$10,000.00
Agreement Date:
Sep 3, 2018 - Jan 4, 2019
Description:
The present materials limitation such a residual contamination and structural defects are causing the low efficiency and failure in ultimate performance and green energy applications as power converter devices for photovoltaic, wind power and electrical vehicles. This project will focus on improving the base materials such SiC, GaN and Ga2O3 used for those applications. This project support green economy by contribution to the development of novel materials for renewable green energy and electric vehicles.
